Preguntar por lugares / Asking for directions.
Para preguntar dónde se encuentra un lugar podemos decir:
Where is the post office?
¿Dónde está la oficina de correos?
Where’s the bank?
¿Dónde está el banco?
Is there a hospital near here?
¿Hay un hospital cerca de aquí?
Is the store near here?
¿Está la tienda cerca de aquí?
Is it far from here?
¿Está lejos de aquí?
Y si lo que queremos es preguntar cómo llegar a un lugar, la forma más habitual es:
How can I get to…?
¿Cómo puedo llegar a…? / ¿Cómo se va a…?
How can I get to the library?
¿Cómo puedo llegar a la biblioteca?
How can I get to the stadium?
¿Cómo puedo llegar al estadio?
How can I get to the museum?
